Candiace Dillard Also Charged With Second Degree Assault & Accused Monique Samuels Of Getting Her Fired From An Appearance

November 19, 2019

This is going to be the #ButtGate of season five.

The upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Potomac is set to be even more explosive than the last after Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard got into a physical altercation while filming during a group trip to a Maryland vineyard.

Word on the street is that Little Miss Trust Fund threw a drink in Monique's face, which caused the mother of three to slam her head into the table. Do I need to elaborate on why this show is going to be epic?

Following their fistfight, Candiace pressed second-degree assault charges against Monique, and now Mrs. Samuels has decided to file her own counter-complaint against Candiace, so the two Housewives have now both been charged with second-degree assault.

According to the complaint, which was filed in the District Court of Montgomery County in Maryland by Monique on November 14, it was said that there was a “probable cause” for the charges being brought against Candiace. This is a Housewives first for two cast members on the same show to both be charged with assault and they are both due in court on December 23. This is going to get so messy.

Although they are both due in court next month, the two also somehow managed to create even more drama. Candiace took to her Instagram to accuse Monique of getting her fired from performing the national anthem at a Washington football game, saying it's apart of her costar's personal vendetta against her.

Of course, Monique clapped back on Twitter denying having anything to do with getting Candiace removed from the event and called her obsessed. I'm just confused how Candiace managed to book a singing gig. Is she a singer now? She's spent her last two seasons on reality TV breaking out her singing voice whenever she can, so I guess she's finally trying to get paid for it.

We don't know a lot about this situation right now, but you can bet all this legal and singing drama will be a main storyline on the upcoming season of the show.
