Another day another Beverly Hills lawsuit.
It's official, half the husbands on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have MULTIPLE ongoing lawsuits filed against them, however, we all know none of the ladies are going to say a word about their legal issues on the show.
Erika Jayne has been requested to show evidence of her income in front of the court in Mr. Girardi's case, Dorit Kemsley just had to give her entire bank account to PK's creditor and now Mauricio Umansky has been slapped with a second lawsuit over his potentially fraudulent sale of a $70 million dollar home - while the show is filming. Hopefully one of the newbies is messy enough to bring all their legal issues up on camera.
In case you've been living without internet access, Mauricio is already being sued after he sold a home for $32 million to a man named Mauricio Oberfeld. However, the seller of the Malibu mansion, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, is accusing Kyle Richards' husband of partnering with the other Mauricio to buy the home for $32 million, without telling him. He claims Mauricio bought the house for himself at a lower price and didn't inform him of other higher offers. A year later, the two Mauricios sold the home for a profit of $70 million.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, one of those people with one of the higher offers is also suing the real estate agent. A potential buyer, Sam Hakim, is accusing Mauricio of choosing the listing price knowing it was below market value, so that he could secretly buy if for himself and sell it for a profit later on. Which sounds like exactly what Mauricio did.
Sam went on to claim in the court documents that he approached Umansky to make an offer on the house for $40 million, but says Mauricio told him "not to put it in writing." He later discovered, Mauricio gave him this information so that the real estate agent could buy it for himself at the lower price of $32 million.

The plaintiff claims the lack of transparency from Mauricio cost him a profit of $35 million dollars, which he would've received if he had the winning bid in the home. Therefore, he's suing Kyle's husband for $35 million.
This is so fucking messy and only time will tell how this thing plays out. How can you star on a reality show showcasing you're luxurious lifestyle and not talk about how your husband is involved in two MULTI-MILLION dollar lawsuits? Does that make sense to anyone?
